University Moving and Storage enjoys celebrating exceptionally talented realtors that we feel are leaders in their industry. This month’s spotlight realtor is John Goodman of John Goodman Real Estate at Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel. We had the chance to sit down and talk to John, asking him what makes him a leader among realtors in Michigan.
 

How long have you been in the real estate industry?

Over 28 years.
 

What made you decide to become a realtor?

When my wife and I moved to Michigan from St. Louis and bought our first home here, we had a horrible real estate transaction and felt were taken advantage of. I never wanted to see that happen to anyone else.

What differentiates you from other realtors?

As a realtor, I take a family approach with my clients. I want all my clients to feel like that are part of our family. It is important to me to provide unsurpassed service without compromising my integrity.

What piece of advice would you give someone looking to buy a new house?

Looking for a house is one of the most exciting experiences! Use a qualified Real Estate Agent to search and negotiate on your behalf.

What is your favorite thing to do in Northville?

Downtown Northville is such a fun place to work and live. There are so many great spots to dine out and shop. It’s a great walking town with something always going on like festivals, music on Friday nights and parades on holidays.
